Descripción del índice

In Serbia, the National Bank of Serbia determines the level of the key rate. The key rate gives a signal about the ongoing monetary policy, and also plays the role of a reference interest rate, since the level of interest rates in the money market, that is, the interest rate corridor, is established with reference to this rate. The key rate is the highest and / or lowest interest rate applied by the National Bank of Serbia in repo transactions for the sale and / or purchase of securities. The level of the key interest rate is set by the Decision of the National Bank of Serbia on the key interest rate.
